ICPSR and RCMD celebrate Pride Month with data!
June is Pride Month! This Pride Month will hold a prominent place in history, as it is also the month that the US Supreme Court made a historic ruling that protects gay and transgender workers from discrimination. ICPSR and the Resource Center for Minority Data (RCMD) would like to highlight the data that we hold in our archives related to the issues that concern the LGBTQIA+ community. A search for LGBT in the ICPSR holdings returns 586 Studies, 112 Variables, 17 Series, and 22 Data-related Publications on the subject. Among them are two held in the RCMD archive.
- 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey (USTS) (ICPSR 37229)
- Project STRIDE: Stress, Identity, and Mental Health, New York City, 2004-2005 (ICPSR 35525)
Please visit our Deposit page if you have data related to the LGBTQIA+ community that you’d like to share.
