ICPSR Community Illuminates “Data Doing Good” at 2021 Biennial Meeting

Quotes from the story below, in picture form
Since 1962, the ICPSR community has actively supported the curation, preservation, and analysis of data. These data have in turn affected the lives of millions of people. Important issues of our day including health care; diversity, equity and inclusion; the environment, and more have all been affected by the use of data.

ICPSR believes that data, when used for good, can change the world!

This is why we were excited to focus on “Data Positivity: Data Doing Good” at the ICPSR Biennial Meeting 2021 (Oct. 6-8, 2021), where members of our community joined us online to learn more about what data are available here at ICPSR, the world’s oldest and largest social science data archive. Participants also heard from experts at multiple institutions sharing how their work with data has impacted policy, culture, and more.
