• 2018-19 ice hockey season-ticket interest list

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The Big Ten office announced Tuesday (May 22) the dates and opponents for the 2018-19 ice hockey season. Michigan will kick off conference play in a rematch of the 2018 Frozen Four Semifinal against reigning B1G Champion Notre Dame (Nov. 9-10) at Red Berenson Rink at Yost Ice Arena.

Michigan will travel to Penn State for a pair of games, Nov. 16-17, before heading back to Ann Arbor for a weekend series against Wisconsin (Nov. 23-24). 

U-M will play a home-and-home series with in-state rival Michigan State. The Wolverines will travel to East Lansing, Michigan, Friday (Nov. 30) before concluding the weekend series at Yost on Saturday (Dec. 1).

Michigan will conclude the calendar year with a home series against Minnesota when the Gophers head to Ann Arbor on Dec. 7-8.

Upon returning from the holiday break, Michigan will travel to South Bend, Indiana, to open up 2019 with a weekend series against the Fighting Irish (Jan. 4-5).

Michigan will host Penn State on Thursday, Jan. 24, before heading to New York for the annual B1G Super Saturday at iconic Madison Square Garden (Jan. 26). U-M and the Nittany Lions will square off in a rematch of the 2016 Super Saturday matchup.

The Wolverines will close out their home schedule with a weekend series against rival Ohio State on Feb. 22-23.

The 2019 Big Ten men's ice hockey tournament will continue to feature a three-weekend format with all games taking place on the campus of the higher-seeded teams. The tournament will open March 8-10 with three best-of-three quarterfinal series, as the second-, third- and fourth-seeded teams will each host a series. The top-seeded team will have a bye to the single-elimination semifinals, which are scheduled for Saturday, March 16. The highest-seeded team remaining after the semifinals will host a championship game scheduled for Saturday, March 23.
