Reception 4 PM - 6 PM
An opportunity for alumni to mix and mingle with other alumni, professors, and current graduate students for informal networking, recruiting, and catching up. Refreshments provided.

After 6 PM, we have left open so that alumni can connect with former lab groups and mentors to head out to dinner in Ann Arbor. If you had no lab affiliation or if your mentor is no longer at UM, we will be happy to connect you with others from your era. You might also want to go to dinner with members of one of our current groups (for recruiting or other purposes).

Alumni-Led Workshop 2 PM - 4 PM
From 2-4 pm, we will hold a “speed interviewing” event for current students and with alumni leaders doing the interviews. Student intending on any career path appreciate the chance to give their pitch to an experienced, friendly ear! We would love for as many alumni as possible to participate as leaders for in this event.

The CSIE|UM and CALC|UM programs are always looking for opportunities to showcase our alumni and invite them back to speak on their experiences. If you are interested in a look at who is hitting the job market, this event is an ideal opportunity, You are cordially invited to attend the Karle Symposium on Friday, August 4th. Official registration has ended, but you are welcome to attend the talks and poster sessions.
